Covid-19 information and guidance

Please note, we have notified parents of your child's allocated 'bubble', alongside a copy of the letter and parent guide via Tapestry.  If you can not access Tapestry please email the school and we will send you details.

Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to discuss your child returning to nursery.

Thank you

Parents Guide

The two documents above will give you an insight into how we have worked to make the environment suitable for your child to return to nursery.

Please also read the relevant procedures and assessments below.

We know many parents may still choose to keep their children at home, and that is entirely your choice and one we will continue to support with home learning.

As of Monday 16th March we will be strictly following new advice from the Department for Education, Public Health England & NHS with regard to coronavirus (COVID-19).

If anyone in your household presents with:

  • a high temperature – feel hot to touch on your chest or back (over 37.8 C)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means you've started coughing repeatedly

Your child will be required to stay off school for 14 full days. If your child presents with the above symptoms at home, please inform us and keep them at home for 14 days.

Please check with staff that we have up to date contact details.

Please follow the link for the official NHS page:

This also applies to staff members, visitors and anyone collecting/dropping off your child. It is our intention to keep School open as long as possible, in order to do this we have to protect our staff. We thank you for your support and understanding on this matter, please do not challenge our staff on this – we have a legal responsibility to follow government guidance on this and we all have a social responsibility to help stop the spread of this virus. We are very thankful for your co-operation so far.

We understand that the above may cause you inconvenience but we do have to follow the advice, as announced by government in order to protect all of the children, staff and families.

We will update you with any further advice as we receive it.

Information will be sent out via the school’s website, text and our Facebook page. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
