Communication and Language
This depends on learning a number of skills.
They are:
- speaking and listening
- being read a wide range of books
- writing for a variety of purposes
Learning to listen and speak comes from an awareness of: - body language such as facial expression
- eye contact
- bending the head to listen
- hand gesture
- taking turns
