Writing
* Large movements are an important part of children's early physical development. Using a paintbrush with water to paint patterns on an outside wall needs large arm movements and can be a fun way to develop control.
* Smaller movements come later and pencil control comes after that.
* It is important that children are encouraged to have a correct pencil grip using two fingers and a thumb so that they can write fluidly and without their hand cramping as they write more.
